We are not affiliated with Schoology or PowerSchool in any way. Pinewood Recap is an official project of Pinewood Tech Club, developed and hosted with the approval of Pinewood School administration.

Pinewood Recap is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Pinewood Tech Club is not responsible for any errors in your recap data, service interruptions, or any other issues arising from use of this tool.

Who can use this

Pinewood Recap is available to Pinewood School students and teachers with a valid Schoology account.

What we access

We authenticate via Schoology OAuth and access the following data through their API:

• Students: assignment submission times, due dates, and course names
• Teachers: grading event timestamps and course names
• We do not access assignment content, messages, or any other Schoology data

What we do with your data

• Generate your personalized recap
• Email you when your recap is ready
• Create anonymous aggregate statistics about submission and grading behavior
• Record anonymous telemetry (e.g. page load times, errors — no personal data) to improve the product

What we store

• The data shown in your recap — submission or grading timestamps, course names, and your Schoology display name
• If you participate in extracurriculars, we store the position of your face within matched activity photos, sourced from photo metadata collected under Pinewood's standard school year consent
• We do not store any other Schoology data

What we don't do

• Sell or share your data with any third parties beyond those listed below

Marketing use

We reserve the right to use anonymous aggregate statistics derived from recap data (e.g. "students submitted X assignments on average") for promotional and marketing purposes. No personally identifiable information is included.

Data retention

Your recap data is retained indefinitely. To request deletion, contact us at techclub@pinewood.edu.

Hosting

This service runs on a computer owned by Pinewood School, operated on Pinewood School networks. Your data does not leave Pinewood infrastructure except as described below.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare — DNS and network tunneling. Cloudflare may receive your IP address and encrypted traffic metadata in transit. Privacy Policy
